How to confirm food-contact plastic compliance?
Check three things: resins and additives on the FDA 21 CFR / GB 9685 positive lists, passing overall migration testing, and food-grade masterbatch for colorants. Confirm the application in writing and request migration test reports when purchasing.
How to keep color consistency for colored small-appliance housings?
Three points: dedicated ABS/PC carrier masterbatch (not universal), batch delivery against sealed standard color panels (ΔE≤1.0-1.5), and fixed molding temperature and cycle. Use white masterbatch to purge the machine between color changes to avoid cross-contamination.
Is hydrolysis-resistant PPS necessary?
Very necessary for humid-heat parts such as dishwashers, water pumps and steam valves — ordinary PPS loses weld-line strength after long-term humid-heat exposure. Choose hydrolysis-resistant grades and validate with boiling-water aging; we provide equivalent grades for humid-heat conditions.
